DPF & Adblue/Nox sensor Fixing

Modern diesel vehicles since 2006 onwards have commonly come with a DPF fitted to the vehicle (Diesel Particulate Filter) this is an emissions based filter which is a legal requirement to drive on UK roads. Since the arrival of further emissions based laws the introduction of the Euro6 engine was released manufacturing further emissions based components in terms of Adblue systems.

Unfortunately as anything all emissions based mechanical components are a serviceable item and can fail. Once these components fail they unfortunately come with a very expensive price tag and can be difficult to properly diagnose or repair the actual issues causing these components to fail.

We see vehicles with faulty emissions based components daily and specialise in there repair and correct diagnosis at a very cost effective price. We work closely with a lot of trade garages both on cars and commercial, as well as hire companies and dealerships.

DPF Fixing

Once your DPF filter is fully blocked with particles the vehicle will put a warning light on the dash and enter into limp mode seriously reducing the power of the vehicle. Driving the vehicle beyond to have it repaired in this state can seriously damage other components such as the turbo or the engine itself. In much serious conditions have seen many vehicles set of fire due to the back pressure and heat build up in the exhaust. It is highly advised if you have DPF issues to get in touch with us ASAP for a correct repair to your issues.

Whether the following issues are:

  • Failed Pressure Sensor
  • Failed EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensors)
  • Failed Lambda Sensors
  • Fully Blocked DPF’s
  • DPF light on the dash or other emissions related warnings
  • Constant regenerations

Adblue Fixing

Adblue & Nox sensor issues can be just as frustrating. Once the adblue system sees a faulty related component for example commonly the Nox sensor, it will trigger a mileage countdown on the dash that you are allowed to travel. Once this mileage countdown hits zero miles your vehicle will cut out and you will be unable to restart the vehicle. This can seriously effect your livelihood whether you use your vehicle for work purposes or just commuting. The vehicle will not restart and will need recovering to us where we will be able to restart your vehicle and fix the issues at an unfortunate inconvenience to you. Our advise is as soon as you have Adblue countdown issues or related sensor issues please get in contact with us ASAP so we can fix all your issues.

Whether the following issues are:

  • Adblue Countdown On Dash
  • Adblue Module Faults
  • Adblue Pump Faults
  • Adblue Injector Faults
  • Adblue Level Registration Faults
  • Nox Sensor Faults

In terms of Adblue this also refers to any named additive systems such as UREA.
